The LDC Cheer Program is a dynamic training environment where athletes build strength, confidence, teamwork, and performance skills in a positive and empowering atmosphere. Designed for athletes of all levels, from beginners discovering cheer for the first time to competitive All-Star athletes, our program focuses on strong fundamentals while celebrating school spirit, athletic excellence, and personal growth.

At LDC, cheerleaders develop skills in stunting, tumbling, jumps, pyramids, motion technique, performance, and crowd leadership. Our experienced coaches emphasize proper technique, safety, and teamwork while encouraging athletes to challenge themselves and grow both physically and mentally.

The program includes multiple pathways for participation:

Recreational Cheer: Glitterbugs & Glitz Elite - 
Are a fun and welcoming introduction to cheerleading where athletes learn foundational skills, build confidence, and develop coordination while enjoying the excitement of cheer.

All-Star Cheer Teams:  Amethyst All-Stars - 
Our competitive All-Star teams train at a higher level of intensity, dedication, and commitment, preparing athletes to perform elite routines and represent LDC at showcases, competitions, and community events. Athletes learn discipline, teamwork, and the dedication required to perform as a cohesive team.

Cheer Skills Training: Diamond Nation - 
Specialty classes focused on specific skills such as tumbling, stunting, jumps, and flyers to help athletes accelerate their growth and build confidence in their abilities.
